Know the Discrepancy Between JEE Main and JEE Advance:

Aspirants can enter top engineering institutes through the national entrance exams JEE Main and JEE Advanced. One of the most crucial tests that engineering students must pass to get admitted to the program of their choice is the IIT JEE. The primary test for admission to government-sponsored technical institutes like NITs and IIITs is JEE Mains 2023, while the preliminary examination for entrance to IITs is JEE Advanced. The differences between JEE Main and JEE Advanced will all be covered here, notwithstanding their overlaps and parallels, which are explained below:

Courses:

JEE Main is held to offer admission into BE or B.Tech programs at numerous NITs and other institutions around the nation. To access the prestigious Institutes of Technology, JEE Advanced 2023 is required.

Eligibility:

There is no minimum required percentage to take the JEE exam 2023. In order to be considered for admission to the NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, applicants must achieve a minimum qualifying exam score of 75% or place in the top 20 percentile of their respective board’s class 12th examinations. Candidates can only apply for this exam if they pass their 12th-grade examinations in 2020, 2021, or 2022, respectively. To appear in JEE Advanced, you must be among the top two lakh scorers in JEE Main.

Admission:

Based on their overall India rank in JEE Advanced, students get admitted to IITs and ISM. These candidates rank among the top 20 percent of their board’s approved applicants in the pertinent categories.

From the above mentioned, the primary distinction between the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams is that you must pass the JEE Main exam AND achieve the qualifying All India Rankings cut-off point to sit for the JEE Advanced exam.
